Keep Two-Stroke Engines Running Strong

Your two-stroke marine engine is a hard-working machine. You ask it run under heavy load at wide-open throttle for extended periods, a duty cycle that could destroy an automotive engine. Even more challenging for two-stroke marine engines are extended periods of operation at low speeds, for example when trolling for fish or navigating long no-wake zones. This can cause the engine to run below its ideal operating temperature. Weather extremes can range from blistering heat to the very cold air and water temperatures experienced on early- and late-season angling and hunting expeditions.
